COURSE NUMBER: FINC 6400
COURSE TITLE: Managerial Finance
 
CATALOG DESCRIPTION:
Prerequisite:  Graduate (MBA) student status, ACCT 4999, ECON 4999 and FINC 3400, or equivalent courses.  This course is designed to give the student the basic knowledge concerning the financial function of modern organizations.  Cases will be used to enable the student to apply the basic knowledge. 
 
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
The principal learning outcomes of this course are: 
  1. To apply the tools of financial analysis to case situations

  3. To analyze financial alternatives and choose and defend a particular course of action in a case environment

  4.  
  5. To present the results of the analysis and prepare recommendations in both written and oral communications
